Watermark Remover

Works best on small logos or text that stay in one spot.

1 Upload Watermark Photo (optional)

A picture of the logo, if you have one. A PNG with a see-through background is best.

2 Upload Video

MP4 or MOV works best, up to 200 MB and 5 minutes. It stays on your computer, nothing is uploaded.

Upload a video in step 2. Adding a watermark photo in step 1 is optional.

A short clip made right here in your browser, with a made-up logo. No third-party footage.

3 Check the outline

4 Remove it and download

How it works

  1. Add your video. Then press 1-Click Auto-Find: we look at a handful of frames for the logo, the part that stays put while the picture changes, most likely near a corner or an edge. Have a picture of the watermark? Add it in step 1 and use Auto-Scan with Photo. Or draw a box yourself.
  2. Check the outline. A pink outline shows what will be repaired. If we are unsure, we say so, and you can drag a box over the watermark instead.
  3. Remove it and download. Tick the permission box, press Remove Watermark, and compare a before and after frame, then download the MP4.

See-through and solid watermarks

A watermark is usually a picture laid over your video. If it is see-through, the original picture is still hiding underneath it, mixed in. We work out the mix and undo it, so the original pixels come back — no blur, no smudge. Where the mark is solid there is nothing underneath to recover, so the gap is rebuilt instead.

Results depend on your video, so always play the whole output before you rely on it. Limits: up to 200 MB and 5 minutes, because your browser has to hold the video in memory.

Your own watermark only

This tool is for removing a watermark from video you own or have permission to edit — an old channel logo, a wrong brand, a camera stamp. Removing someone else’s watermark or credit, or marks on footage you haven’t licensed, isn’t what it’s for. You confirm this before every run; read the responsible use & terms.

Questions

Is my video uploaded anywhere?

No. The video is opened and processed inside your browser and never sent to our server. Your saved watermark pictures stay in your own browser storage; you can delete them any time.

Why is it slow on long videos?

Your own computer does the work, not a server. A 30-second clip usually takes a minute or two; a few minutes of HD can take much longer. Keep the tab open and avoid other heavy programs.

The browser says it ran out of memory.

Try a shorter or smaller video, close other tabs, or use a computer instead of a phone. Big files need big memory because the finished video is built in your browser before you download it.

What if it can't find my watermark?

It says "Couldn't find one automatically. Draw a box around it." and shows a box in the lower-right corner. Drag the box onto the watermark, drag its edges or corners to fit it (a line of text needs a long, thin box), or draw a new box on the picture; Clear box starts over. The tool checks the spot a moment after every change. If it can measure a fixed mark there, it removes it properly. If it cannot, it paints over the box from its surroundings (and from other frames when the picture moves), which works best on plain areas and can look smeared on detailed ones, and it tells you so before you press Remove. A video with no fixed watermark is left alone: nothing changes unless a mark is found or you draw a box.

Can I use it on someone else's videos?

No — only on videos you own or have permission to edit. Please read the responsible use page.
