Responsible use & terms
The Watermark Remover is a free editing tool. Please use it fairly. This page is short on purpose.
Use it only on videos you own or may edit
You may use the tool on a video if you made it, or the owner has given you permission to edit it. Examples that are fine: removing your own old channel logo from a clip you made, taking a stamp off your own camera footage, or cleaning a video for a client who asked you to.
Please don’t
- Remove someone else’s watermark or credit to pass their work off as yours.
- Use it to get around a licence, a paywall or a preview-only copy of someone else’s content.
- Re-post other people’s videos without their permission.
Removing ownership or copyright information from works you don’t control can be illegal in many countries. You are responsible for how you use the result.
Your files stay with you
- Your video and your watermark picture are processed inside your browser. They are never uploaded to our server.
- Saved watermark pictures live in your browser’s own storage on this device. You can delete them from the tool, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.
- We don’t keep or look at the videos you process. The site shows adverts from third-party ad networks, which have their own privacy practices.
No guarantees
The tool is provided “as is”. Results depend on the video: see-through watermarks usually come out clean; solid ones over a still picture can leave a faint trace. Always keep your original file. We’re not liable for lost files, results you didn’t expect, or how the output is used.
