Most online watermark tools ask you to upload your video to their server. For a personal clip, a client project or anything private, that is a lot to hand over. The Watermark Remover on PeopleScan.ai works differently: the video is opened and processed inside your own browser.
What stays on your computer
Your video, the finished file and any watermark picture you add all stay in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server for processing. A watermark picture is saved in your browser's own storage only if you leave that option ticked, and you can delete it at any time.
What the site does count
After a removal finishes, the page sends a tiny anonymous note so we can see how much the tool is used: how it found the watermark, which way it removed it, how many seconds long the video was, and a random number your browser makes up. There is no file, file name, address or account in it.
The trade-off
Because your own computer does the work, speed depends on your device. A 30-second clip usually takes a minute or two. Long or high-resolution videos take longer and need more memory, so there are limits of 200 MB and 5 minutes. A computer is much faster than a phone.
Good to know
- It works best on small logos or text that stay in one spot.
- If it cannot find the watermark on its own, it says so and lets you draw a box around it.
- Use it only on videos you own or have permission to edit.
